Valentine's Day Celebration

Valentine's Day traces its roots back to ancient Roman times, where the pagan celebration took place in mid-February to honored their Roman gods of fertility. Latter, Valentine's Day has evolved into celebration filled with timeless traditions with roses, cards, chocolate and candle light dinner.

Blue Fish is located on the upper north end of Ocean City, MD. Though we are furthest away from downtown and the Inlet, we had a great turnout for this occasion. We had guests from Selbyville, Millsboro, Lewes, Rehoboth, Dewey beach and Bethany Beach all over Delaware. We filled with house with many locals from Ocean City, West Ocean City and neighboring town of Berlin and Ocean Pines.

At Blue Fish, we keep Valentine's Day traditional with home-made pink rosy buttercream icing cupcakes, heart shaped balloons and candlelight dinners. While the Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day is 3 days apart, it is the perfect crossover to enjoy the special Lunar Menu for 3 additional days. Honoring traditions with a contemporary flair, we added a Valentine's Raffle with a chance to win a gift card. The drawing took place at the end of the night while our chefs celebrated team member's birthday and the remnant of Lunar New Year. Our third prize winner goes to Dan with a $50 gift card, second prize was Rose with a $75 gift car and our top winner was Sydney with a $100 gift card.

We want to send a shout out to our friends and neighbors that came to celebrate this special holiday. Let us reflect on the significance of Valentine's Day, let us remember that love, in all shape and forms, is a powerful force that binds us together. Cherish friends, or a long running romantic partnership, or even just self-love, let us remember to cherish and nurture the relationships that enrich our lives. Happy Valentine's Day to friends, family and guests close and far. Cheers to many more!Yelp review V-day 2024
